Meet Jason

Jason Grenci (he/him) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Intern with Yorkville University.  Jason joins the Milton Psychotherapy Centre team with enthusiasm and privilege to create a safe and accepting space for his clients as they develop deeper connections with themselves and others.  Jason has a specialized interest in working with adults who are facing challenges with self-esteem, self-confidence, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship matters, and with individuals experiencing challenging relationship dynamics; including individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse.  Jason is building stronger advocacy about men’s mental health and believes that it is important for men to unpack how their life experiences have influenced who and where they are today; at the same time, exploring how those experiences can help build healthy relationship frameworks for all generations of men to benefit from.

Clients who desire to make sustainable change, exploring their Self with richer perspective balanced with humour in life challenges are an excellent fit for Jason. Jason feels honored to be able to help his clients better understand and trust themselves, and improve their relationships.

Jason is drawn toward using the following therapeutic modalities in his work with clients:  Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and a deeper interest in Existential Therapy that encompasses spiritual inquiry, as it lends itself to healing and self-actualization.

When Jason is not focusing on academics, he remains committed to his own growth through a practice of psycho-spiritual inquiry, using journaling as primary communication tool. He is also an online culinary experience host and endeavours to bring together cooking and dynamic therapeutic work in his future as a psychotherapist.

Jason is now providing low-cost therapy to clients under the clinical supervision of our Lead Therapist and Registered Social Worker, Jana Venditti.
