Ashley Seewah (she/her), is a Registered Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families. She specializes in supporting clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, body image issues, and general stress.  Safety, comfort, and authenticity are Ashley’s top priorities when she works with her clients. She is passionate about supporting her clients to be their most authentic selves.  Ashley is committed to helping her clients feel seen, heard, understood, and finding deeper relationships with themselves and others.

 

Ashley works from a trauma-informed perspective, and she understands how cultural and relational forces can influence how we think, feel, and act in all aspects of life.  Ashley is able to make strong connections with her clients and help them find ways to better cope with strong emotions, and live their lives, unmasked.  Ashley is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

 

Ashley can also support clients with their concerns related to school refusal, Selective Mutism, school advocacy, conflict resolution, attachment, healthy boundaries, social and emotional challenges.

 

When she is not meeting with clients you can find Ashley enjoying reality tv, staying active, taking in anything Sci-Fi related, or “geek-ing” out to Harry Potter and Star Wars fandom.
